This Take-5 two-part workshop will inspire you to tap into the power of the five senses to release stress when you are feeling triggered by life and all its trials.
It will help you see that self -care is not selfish, but essential to feeling well and functioning better. When our 'cup is full' we have more from which to pour and to share with loved ones!
This 2-part workshop (part one on Sept. 17) will be lead by Jamie DiLorenzo Lohman, LMSW, of Sage Tree Therapy LLC, who will help participants feel more connected, grounded, and relaxed thru each of their five senses. Each sense will be explored and paired with a take-home activity (think pampering items and easy, fun artwork) and a lively discussion.
Guest presenter and whole health coach Gayle Rose will lead an hour on mindful eating on Sept 24. She'll guide participants in a mindful snack experience using all five senses, and provide tools and practical tips for reducing emotional eating. She'll also discuss how to shift to healthier self-care choices to bring better balance with food, movement and stress.
Guest presenter and therapist Elizabeth Lowder will lead an hour about how music and art can improve our self-care practices.
Admission gets you entry into both evenings, several different 'make & take' self-care gifts, refreshments, the guest presenters, fellowship with other women who want to make an investment in bettering themselves and FUN!
This is the perfect opportunity to grab some girlfriends, or your mom or daughter and treat yourself!
