Do you know the Jim Rohn quote,
"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with?"
It's really true, even when it comes to matters of our health. It's not just the food we bring into our environments that influence our choices ("outta-sight-outta-mind') but also the people!
When we hang around with people with healthy habits, we're more likely to adopt them. ("Who wants to cook tonight? Let's go thru the drive-thru instead!") If a friend is encouraging you to meet them for a walk a few mornings a week, you're much more likely to be active than hitting the snooze alarm repeatedly.
Having an accountability partner (or two) when you're working on health improvements can mean the difference between goal achievement and wheel spinning and frustration.
So whether you select a friend, family member, colleague or coach (like me!), find them, share your Why, your goals and best self vision for your health and get going.
To your good health in 2019 & beyond,
