To fuel our bodies well and subsequently feel well, we have to prioritize healthy eating.
This means building a habit of staying a few steps ahead with meal planning and preparation and anticipating situations that might come up where we could be tempted by foods that aren’t in support of our health. When we go into those situations with strong intentions or veer around them, we do much better than when we simply show up and hope for the best. Our best intentions for healthy eating can get derailed in split -second decisions throughout our days when we’re feeling weak or impulsive or as though we ‘deserve’ a treat.
When we don’t prioritize healthy meal prep, we often end up stumbling over ourselves, getting in our own way and we don’t progress toward our healthier self goals.
To your good health!
